   • We recommend that you only use our services to send money to friends and family or people that you know and trust. You should not use this platform to pay for any goods or services or to send money to someone that you do not know.

   • To use RemPesa all customers will need to first create an account with us. Setting up an account will allow us to remember certain information about you. Your account will not be used as the means of sending the money and it will not contain any of your financial information.
   • When you set up an account with us then you must provide us with complete, true, and accurate information about you. When you make a payment then you will need to provide information about your bank as well as any other information or documents which we may require to process the transfer. The information that you provide us with may be used to determine if you are eligible to use our services, you may also be required to provide additional identity information for verification and security purposes.
   • You may not create a profile or submit money on behalf of another person. Our services are intended for consumers only, and these services are not suitable for any business or commercial purpose. If you use RemPesa for commercial or business services, then you will be breaking this agreement and we may stop you from having access to our services.
   • It is important that you provide us with accurate information and that you ensure that this information is always kept up to date.
   • When you create an account with RemPesa then you will be required to agree to these terms and conditions, and you must confirm that you are at least 18 years of age to be able to send money using our services.
   • You will be required to send us some of your banking information (such as your credit or debit card details) so that we may be able to make payments on your behalf. You may only provide us with payment information that has not expired and that you are the lawful user of.
   • Customers may only register for one account per person.

   • If you submit a transaction to us to be processed, then you are requesting that we process your transaction on your behalf. You agree that we may accept or reject your offer to process a transaction under these terms and conditions and that we are not under any obligation to carry out any transactions on your behalf if we reasonably believe that you have attempted to violate these terms and conditions.
   • We will only be able to carry out transactions when you have provided us with all the correct information that we require to enable us to do so. This includes the correct information of the recipient and all other mandatory details which are required to complete the transfer.
   • You will be able to access the details of all of the transactions that you have made using RemPesa by logging in to your account and viewing this information on your profile.

   • We may refuse any transactions where we believe that this is necessary in order to protect you or our platform or to comply with any legal requirements.
   • In addition, you may not use RemPesa for any of the following:

     - For any illegal purposes including fraud, the funding of terrorist organisations or money laundering.

     - For the purchase of any controlled substances.

     - Break any of the terms in these terms and conditions.

     - Provide us with false information.

     - Fail to co-operate with us.

You acknowledge and agree that by engaging in any of the above restricted activities that we may deny your future access to our platform without any warning.

1. 5. Cancellations and refunds
   • If you are experiencing any problems with our service, then please let us know as soon as possible. Please let us know if you suspect that there has been any unauthorised access to your account or any transactions which have been incorrectly executed.
   • You may cancel a transaction at any time but only up until the time it has been completed. When a transaction has been completed this means that the recipient has claimed the money that you have sent them. If the transaction has been completed and accepted by the person on the receiving end, then you will need to contact the recipient directly.

   • You acknowledge that this service as well as all of the content on this website, logos, graphics texts and images as well as all other logos and product service names are all owned exclusively by us. You are allowed to view and use this content for your own personal, non-commercial use.

   • At RemPesa we take your security very seriously and we take all reasonable measures to ensure the security of your information when you send it to us.
   • We take AML (anti-money laundering) as well as the countering of the financing of terrorism very seriously and we have a number of measures in place in order to protect all of our users from financial crime.
   • We check all of the information from all users which register for an account with us in order to comply with the KYC Verification process and we also make checks on all personal details such as customer addresses in order to be able to verify their identity. We may repeat this process for all users as we feel is necessary.
